Corina Andrei is a sociologist and PhD in political science, an expert in international projects in the educational and social field. Within the Alternative Culture project, co-financed by the European Social Fund, Corina Andrei conducted a qualitative study on the good practices of public policies in the field of culture, with the title: “The Status of the Independent Artist in 5 European States”. The study, which targets the status of the artist from a social, legal and fiscal point of view, is based on interviews conducted with artists and cultural operators from France, Germany, Great Britain, Slovakia and Denmark and proposes a comparative analysis of the artist’s status in these European countries, as well as in Romania.
