Gabriele Rosana is a journalist and public policy specialist, with expertise in both the institutional and the non-profit environments. Associate member of the IAI (Instituto Affari Internazionali), Rome and collaborator of several Italian publications, Gabriele Rosana is interested in public policies and, in particular, in the role of culture in the strategies developed by the European Union. Gabriele has worked in the CULT committee of the European Parliament for 8 legislative mandates and as rapporteur for the Creative Europe program, where he closely followed the development of EU policies for culture, education and media. Prior to joining Culture Action Europe, as policy director, Gabriele Rosana was  the deputy director of policy at the EURACTIV Foundation, a pan-European media network that initiates and supports political debates between officials and civil society, and advocacy officer for the Association européenne des conservatoires (AEC), an association that promotes the value of culture, education and innovation in art.
