We invite you to the events of the second section of the XXXI edition of the International Festival “_New Music Days_”, which will take place from 19 to 24 October this year.
Fascinating music by international composers from Romania, Switzerland, Germany, France, Denmark, Ukraine, Austria and Republic of Moldova will be performed by world-renowned musicians:

The Union of Composers and Musicologists is an organisation professional, public association with 82 years of experience. The main objects of activity are the stimulation and propagation of musical creation, the valorisation of the musical compositional heritage. Currently UCMM has 86 members – composers and musicologists. Professional musicians, many of whom enjoy recognition on the international scene. international recognition. Over the years UCMM has implemented projects in partnership with the Council of Europe, the Council of Europe Goethe Institute, the Romanian Cultural Institute, International Society of Contemporary Music, the Arts Council of Canada, the “Pro Helvetia” Foundation, the Cultural Foundation, Gulbenkian Foundation (Portugal), Stefan Batory Foundation (Poland), with USAID, the Soros Foundation Moldova, the Union of Composers and Composers and Musicologists of Romania, Romanian Concert Institutions and others. Since 1991 UCMM is the main organizer of the Festival International Festival “Days of New Music”, an annual event, organized in partnership with the Teleradio-Moldova Company, the Philharmonic National Philharmonic, the Organ Hall, the Academy of Music, Theatre and Arts Arts. Since 1995 the UCMM organizes the Composition Competition and Musicology, dedicated to professional composers and musicologists. Since 2013 UCMM organizes the project “Romanian music from both sides of the Prut”, co-organized by ICR, in partnership with Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania, Philharmonic National Philharmonic, Organ Hall, Academy of Music, Theatre and Arts Arts. UCMM is a partner in the organisation of national and international cultural-artistic projects aimed at the propagation of musical creation and the valorisation of heritagecompositional heritage.”
