Milena Dragićević Šešić teaches Cultural Policy, Management and Mediation at the Belgrade Faculty of Dramatic Art, being the former president of the same faculty (2000 to 2004). She has published 20 books and numerous essays on cultural management, intercultural mediation and sustainable development strategies, translated into over 15 foreign languages, from English and German to Arabic and Chinese. Some of these studies are available in Romanian. She is also invited to give lectures, to speak at conferences and during internship programs at numerous prestigious universities and institutions worldwide. In 2002 she received the title of Commander of the Order of Les Palmes Academiques from the French Ministry of National Education. She is a member of the National Council for Science and Technology (2006-2010), chairman of the commission that awards the Prize for Research in Cultural Policies offered by the European Cultural Foundation, Amsterdam (2003 to 2010) and member of the Commission of the European Diploma for the Management of Cultural Projects, offered by the Marcel Hicter Foundation in Brussels. She founded and is now the Head of the UNESCO Chair for Interculturalism, Artistic Management and Mediation.
