Theatre-Story is an independent artistic initiative that emerged in 2010 out of the need to consistently create artistic productions that would critically reflect, question the issues facing contemporary Moldovan society and beyond; it is a platform for the promotion of art with a politically-assumed discourse in Moldova.
From 2010 to 2017 it was also a space that hosted initiatives and debates on various topics and of interest to different marginalized groups in society.
In 2017 the theatre-house gave up the space and continued as a political theatre collective.
During these years the laundry has produced a number of shows and performances including Clear History, Moldova Independente. Erata, Fiction, Dear Moldova, can we kiss a little bit of everything, Drujba, American Dream, Кстати о погоде, Recviem for Europe, Gospel after Mary, Abolition of the Family.
He has invited performances from Poland, Romania, Germany and the UK. He created the residency programme Ironworks. The artists invited in this residency were: Bogdan Georgescu, Wojtek Ziemilski, Jessica Glause, David Schwartz and Anetta Mona Chișa & Lucia Tkaciova, Alice Monica Marinescu
