Vlad Ciobanu is a visual artist, working with painting, installations, film. His projects centre around the contemporary post-Soviet space. Through various artistic means, he likes to recreate urban space, buildings, reinvent public space. He is a member of the “Occupy Guguță” movement in Chișinău, creator of several civic awareness projects, such as: “Letters for MPs”, “Occupy Guguță”, “Pedestal on the Alley of Classics”, “Protest Against Dictators”, aso.
