Vladimir Bulat holds a PhD on Romanian culture in the Fanario era, with a thesis on Bucharest through the Lens of Its Slums, obtained at the Academy of Arts in Bucharest. He has given numerous conferences and colloquia and is the author of hundreds of articles and essays on ancient, modern and contemporary Romanian art, as well as art reviews published in periodicals and specialized magazines in various countries.
